Data We DO NOT Collect

NetHack Helper does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information including:

• Your name, email address, or contact information
• Your location or device identifiers
• Usage analytics or tracking data
• Crash reports or diagnostic information
• Any data from other apps on your device

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

NetHack Helper stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Game Scores: Player names, scores, character classes, races, alignments, ascension status, and notes you enter
• App Settings: Your selected intrinsics, protection levels, prayer status, and other game tracking preferences
• Item Selections: Which items you've identified in the price calculator
• Spell Calculator Settings: Your character's Intelligence and Experience Level inputs

This data is stored in JSON files in your device's Documents directory and iOS UserDefaults. It never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Information

All data processing happens locally on your device for the sole purpose of providing app functionality:

• Displaying your game scores and statistics
• Calculating spell success rates based on your character stats
• Showing item prices based on your character's charisma
• Tracking your character's intrinsics and abilities
• Persisting your preferences between app sessions

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise transfer your information to any third parties. Period.

NetHack Helper does not integrate with:

• Analytics services
• Advertising networks
• Social media platforms
• Cloud storage services
• Any external APIs or services

4. Data Security

Your data security is protected by:

• Local Storage: All data remains on your device protected by iOS security features
• No Network Transmission: The app doesn't connect to the internet for any data exchange
• iOS Sandboxing: App data is isolated from other apps by iOS security mechanisms

5. Your Data Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Modify: Edit or update any information you've entered
• Delete: Remove individual scores or reset all app data
• Export: Your data is stored in standard JSON format in your device's Documents directory

How to Delete Your Data

To completely remove all app data:

1. Delete individual scores by long-pressing them in the Scores tab
2. Reset intrinsics and other settings by toggling them off
3. Or uninstall the app to remove all data permanently

6. Children's Privacy

NetHack Helper does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13. The app is suitable for all ages and complies with COPPA requirements.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and notify users through an app update. Since we don't collect contact information, we cannot notify you directly.
